Covia may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, age, gender, city or location preference, profile bio, profile photos, media uploads, education or work details, plan signals, interests, and other profile information you choose to add.

Covia may also collect activity created inside the app, including discovery preferences, connection or plan requests, messages, media shared in conversations, pass or block actions, reports, moderation records, subscription status, and account deletion requests.

2. How We Use Information

We use information we collect to:

  • show your profile to other users where appropriate;
  • power discovery, explore, inbox, connection, and messaging features;
  • process plan or connection requests between users;
  • store and display photos, videos, messages, and profile details;
  • support moderation, safety, reporting, blocking, and account enforcement;

3. Photos, Media, and Profile Visibility

Profile photos, media, profile text, plan signals, city, and other profile details may be visible to other Covia users as part of the app experience.

Media you send in chat or connection flows may be visible to the recipient and may be stored so the conversation can function. You should not upload or send content you do not have the right to share.

4. Messages and Connection Requests

Covia supports plan requests, connection requests, inbox decisions, and conversations between users. We process this information to deliver messages, show request status, maintain conversation history, and provide safety or moderation controls.

We may review reports, blocks, or moderation events when necessary to protect users, enforce our Terms, or respond to safety issues.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Covia Pro features may be offered through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment details under Apple's systems and policies.

We may receive limited subscription information from Apple, such as product identifier, entitlement status, renewal state, and transaction status needed to unlock or restore premium access.

  • analytics, diagnostics, or monitoring tools used to understand reliability and crashes; and
  • support or email tools used to respond to user requests.

These providers process information only as needed to support Covia, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help operate Covia, with other users as part of the app experience, if required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse or safety issues, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

8. Safety, Reports, and Moderation

Covia may retain reports, blocks, moderation notes, account status changes, and related safety records to enforce rules, prevent repeated abuse, protect users, and maintain service integrity.
